Motorcycling on the 'Emerald Isles' of Ireland and Scotland quickly and easily becomes a passion, as the roads there aren't yet so congested ;-). No, of course, the beautiful landscapes and the ever-helpful and friendly people (who listen patiently) are at least as appealing. Or to put it better: you quickly fall in love with these two countries.

Since my first visit, the road network, especially in Ireland, has been significantly expanded and improved, so that you are now deliberately routed past some cities. But there are cities and smaller towns that are absolutely worth a visit; you'll have to decide that for yourself.

This page aims to give interested visitors a small insight into getting around on two wheels in Ireland and Scotland, and therefore includes tour reports and picture galleries.
